Environment
ISCAL is very conscious of its responsibilities in respect of recycling. Efforts are constantly made to ensure tissue is recycled wherever possible. Initiatives have and do include:
- Shredded Tissue
-
Shredded tissue as bedding for cattle, as part of a worm farm initiative.
Shredded tissue as bedding for dogs, in both RSPCA shelters and canine shelters such as The Greyhound Society
The tissue makes excellent animal bedding of all kinds and is available on request, for a nominal charge.
Simply call at our premises or contact us by email or telephone for further details.
- Bottle Recycling
-
ISCAL is taking part in a bottle recycling initiative, RECAP in conjunction with the North Halifax Partnership and Workwise.
This involves the collection and recycling of beer and wine bottles from pubs and clubs, to microbrewers and wineries as well as bottling on behalf of the microbreweries.
Recycled pallets are also used for the delivery of wine bottles.
